RE: DELL's SILENCE

If DELL came out and said that business was great, it could cause INTC's stock to shoot up even further. If it came out and said that business was lousy it probably would cause distortions in iNTC and the other companies prices as well as its own. THis could really piss INTC off.

If it was up to me I would wait till INTC reports before making any additional market comments.

Food for thought....

RE:
We ask why has MD been silent in the wake of current market conditions? A possible answer is that LOU what's his name from Big Blue has required MD to maintain a very low profile prior to the immennent IBM/DELL announcement. I think your investigation work may be extremely correct. We are about to be given a Christmas gift a month late.

This is precisely my real opinion as to why...I was waiting for days now to find if someone else had this same opinion...Amidst all the clamoring against his silence no one (aside from you now) even had the imagination to realize Michael had a reason for his silence...Always being fast to criticize and not think positive will get ya no where ...

Best, Kemble
