Wolff,

For entertainment's sake, what is your estimate for tonight's earnings figure?

My estimates are $8.2B revs with income of $.65/share.

I reckon Intel is well positioned to sell a lot of silicon with the monster quarters starting in 6 months.

Re: "K6=Customer relations, design wins, mind share, market share, now they just need to execute on the K7, sorry folks Intel is flat footed and apparantly blind right now "

No The K6 meant the worst financial disaster in AMD's disasterous history. With the purchase of Nexgen plus the years of red ink, AMD flushed over $1 Billion Dollars down the ol'tubes, plus they got to sell off their Programmable logic division to boot. And don't forget they had to kill their profitable 29K microcontroller product line because they couldn't fund that and the money losing processor division at the same time. In short, AMD has never posted a red cent of profit from any microprocessor they have ever designed. This quarter they may show a profit but only because of a huge upside in flash and the contribution of their communications division, another unit they are trying to selloff to raise more cash for that next great toilet flush.

You are so mixed up and so wrong with your "facts" that I no longer see any point in arguing with someone who is so ill informed.
