V, there was an announcement today on CNBC, something to the affect that Bell Atlantic is offering 1600 minutes for $160/month, using CDMA, as their initial way of combating T, and saying that, as I understood it, they intend to lower the minimum number of minutes within 6 months. Can anyone fill us in on what this is all about? (Sorry if this has already been discussed. I haven't had time to look at all posts -- my Mom-in-law had a massive stroke and I am the family caretaker. She is doing fine, under the circumstances. Am trying to keep my sanity.) dc
