Cobalt, My daughter in 39 and a victim of MS. She is helpless, Abandoned into a Nursing Home by her husband, who got away with forging her name on an SS check for $11,844 to set up a checking account and went on to forge her name on the checks and spend it quite freely..He bought himself a Bass fishing Boat. In Florida all of this was ruled legal under the community property rights..When I got her out of the Nursing Home and forced a Judge to return her to her home, her husband divorced her..He pays her $300. each month alimony and she gets $514.00 monthly SS which does not cover the $700 Mortgage.. Now how do you figure that one. It costs me about $2,500 per month to keep her in her home..
