A question for both Mowa & Tom...

Since there is strong reluctance to code Linux (Debian or otherwise) for pentium class, is it practical to code Wine to run at this level while the loaded application is intended to run on a pentium.. (Seems to me it would work although it does strike me as something worth thinking about).

Tom your postings have been appreciated here inspite of your bias.. Like Mowa says it encourages thinking.

Mo, with all things I'm constantly getting input/feedback that alter my reality. Over time I develop firm convictions based on gut and cross conflicting facts. I many times don't remember all the facts. Many times when I write an opinion I may not have the facts completely right but I'm not too far away. I try to use what's in my current foreground information deamon to convey nuances of information. So I really respect the Debian guys on a technical level yet I also condemn then as selfish asses for being so pure. Debian purity restricts access to the best and brightest. But the best and brightest reject this as they are more tolerant and charitable and are more religously kiss. This is my general impression of the many technical best and brightest I've had the priviledge to deal with. IQ was a part of this. How much a part I will have to think about.

So now back to my post, 8495,

Well this is really really BIG news for corl

My gut originally was to just refer to a 10 employee Newlix, but not knowing I said "10 to 50 employees". I wanted to err on the side of giving the benefit of the doubt to even Corl.

Well latest news.....Corrected:Corel Expands Linux Line With Investment
dailynews.yahoo.com

The investment in tiny Newlix, which has eight full-time staff and was founded late last year, marks the most recent in a string of Linux investments for Corel.

Now even my low of 10 was a 20% overstatement of how really big this news was for Corl.

Also... cnnfn... call in on aplx... I don't remember the name of the analyst, I've seen him before and he has a Tom gut rating as he has not demonstrated total stupidity yet. Anyway his recommendation was only pick up corl in low teens. He knew the current corl price swings.
