The weather man in Amarillo Tx last night was forecasting the coldest weather of the year next weekend. Previously, he had been saying the cold air would stay to the east, but now sees it spreading over the plains states.
Every time I looked at CNBC today, they had a guru on pounding the table on energy. I have never seen energy touted as such a consistent theme as I saw today. I know some of conspiratorial minded among you think this is all a setup, but to simple-minded me it says that the values here are attracting notice and the long-awaited rotation is beginning. Greenspan speaks tonight and if he even hints at higher interest rates, tech money could start coming this way tomorrow. Or not!
