Petz, <Intel will explain that the i820, CC820 redesign costs, RAMBUS subsidies, etc., etc., are only one-time costs that it have now been put behind.> You might have to come up with other examples of "one-time costs." 820 development is definitely not a "one-time cost," not even the scramble to fix the September bugs. CC820 is not a redesign; in fact, it has always been on Intel's plans even before the 820 RDRAM fiasco. "Rambus subsidies"? Please. I'm sure you guys would have had a field day had Intel merely met expectations. (And few of you were even expecting that much.) Thanks to Intel beating them by six cents a share, the negative spin no longer sounds very negative anymore. Tenchusatsu
