Bob,

I just checked on Quote.Com and that indeed shows what you said. Then I checked on Schwab and they show the last trade as being over $16 and an ask of $17.5! Could someone with better access please explain what's going on?

Are some of these trades on Quote.Com simply late reports? Or did it really trade down that much?

Moreover, the ask of $17.5 is amusing!

Thanks, Torben

P.S. Schwab's after-hours quotes aren't necessarily so great.... And I don't put much credence in the $17.5 ask although it's nice to dream!

I first saw that drop at quote.com. The trade before the point drop was also a point below the close and was marked "late" indicating that it was posted after hours, but probably traded much earlier, when LGND was trading in the mid-15s. All subsequent trades were listed in the mid 15s. I suspect that these were additional "Late" trades, or some saw the "late" trade in the 15s, thought it was an after hour trade and the next trades were posted at the lower price.
Island shows an unfilled buy order at 16 9/32:

It hard to imaging LGND trading in the mid 15s and have a buy order at 16 9/32 go unfilled.
