appreciate the skinny, dave. for the rest of board, here's a small blurb on the pricing. ----- Applied Micro Circuits To Sell 5.25 Million Shares For $142 Each 01/13/2000 Dow Jones News Service SAN DIEGO -(Dow Jones)- An offering of 5.25 million common shares of Applied Micro Circuits Corp. (AMCC) was priced at $142 each through underwriters led by Credit Suisse First Boston. Applied Micro shares closed at 146 1/16, up 9 1/2. In a press release Thursday, Applied Micro said it granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to 752,271 additional shares to cover any overallotments. Applied Micro makes and sells silicon integrated circuits for communications infrastructure.
