SargeK and Slider,OT I wish you the best of luck with FGH and if the oil patch gets through the next year or two without a major bust I have no doubt JL will be able to turn the FGH around. Whether he can turn it around in time to save my summer calls I doubt, but OTOH its getting real cheap to average down on them, ggg. My own company (HSY) is down in the dumps due to some minor earnings disappointments, initial problems with a new accounting/enterprise program (SAP) plus the fact that food stocks are, like oil fabs, not exactly the rage right now. Business seems to be doing fine, I have been there near 20 years and have seen a lot of ups and downs with HSY, though they are nothing like oil companies or internet companies. Buy'em while they are cheap and hated and so I do, what I can afford to hold long term (though I allow, and wait for, the possibility of a selling climax!). I believe many on the thread would agree that it is not necessary for you to rebut Slider any more than it is necessary for Slider to kick you while your stock is down. I realize you both have a lot of injustices received from each other and feel that you must defend yourselves, your sacred honor, etc etc and whatever. To which I will reply that a wound will never heal if one gouges at it every day. The story has been told a hundred times, all the regulars on this thread know the story from its beginning much better than we ever wanted to know it! Leave the defense and offense alone, stick to facts without any personal references, at all, and leave the wounds heal. Otherwise you both risk poisoning a very valuable thread with your personal vitriolic battles and as such do each and every poster a disservice. It is like a gangbanger hitting every pedestrian on the street with a barrage of gunfire while his real target escapes. Frustrating to you both, but fatal to the health of the SD thread. If it takes two to Tango it also takes two to call and keep a Ceasefire. After all you both have a unity of purpose now, your both buying FGH, now that's a FRIGHT isn't it, VBG! Drop your swords and pick up your mice and now lets just make money and not war anymore! Best Regards, Roebear
