I believe earnings are to be released after the close next Tues. 1/18? Corrections anyone?

One other reason I am buying way out-of-the-money calls: The highest call available right now is 400. I interpret this to the fact that the market makers in the options are probably working with some information about the split and are quite positive about BRCM getting to these price levels in the next month or so - when options close in have a price target this high, 30-50% above the 50 day moving average price of the stock, when the stock is on a positive trajectory, I take this to be a bullish indicator.

Any other options players take the options pricing into consideration as a bullish or bearish indicator?

As a final note, I don't really believe in the put-call ratio as an indicator of much of anything. It is like looking at short interest as an indicator. Not a very good correlation to anything. JMHO.

Cheers, Keith
