Can't say about American Express free trades. Looks good. Do they support Quicken OFX downloads? I doubt it. Their on-line bank doesn't. And I have no idea how good their executions are. I dumped my $9.95-a-trade Datek account and my $14.95-a-trade E*Trade account when I noticed that neither of them EVER got me a price improvement on a limit order, even when the market was bouncing around and I probably deserved one. With my $29.95-a-trade Schwab account I frequently get price improvements. I haven't computed it, but I guess those price improvements more than make up for the higher commissions. And I don't trade all that often anyway.
