MY evidence is anecdotal at best but a cross is rarely a sign that a stock is going down - almost invariably something is about to happen -

So wwhy does it happen??? a number of possibilities - A big insider selling some to a friend. sometimes it is just ssomebody switching accts - I did it just yesterday on a 1.5K trade on another stock.

It is a rule of thumb in sepc trading - It is one of the things to look for.

I know this does not help much but I take note when I see a cross
