i think ed's instructions only apply to win98. i have netscape instructions, but not ie5.0. we'll have to hunt around. i do have a cool program loaded on my other machine (win95) called startup manager. it let's you do the same thing in w95 that ed was showing you in w98. i'll get the url and be back. meanwhile, maybe someone else will have the solution. :) mark

btw, do you want to uninstall, like in the add/remove program? or just prevent it from loading on start up?
