At this time, QCOM is the leader by far in CDMA ASICs. MOT and LU are licensed to sell them, but will not likely be selling them to other companies. LSI and DSP(now part of Intel) are likely to be players. There are others working on it. QCOM stands to benefit the most. Sierra is a card maker. I have no idea why the stock has risen. They will become obsolete. Same with Metricom.
