You and other AOL investors and momentum players may be comfortable with merger but are the shareholders of Time Warner? The dynamics of AOL trading will unlikely change. Maybe that won't happen as much until after the merger is complete and Warner stock is effectively trading under the AOL banner but I think it highly likely that it will change. In the short term there is more upside swings likely and the downside risk is not that great. But a meteoric rise to a new high (as investors have been accustomed to in the past) is unlikely for some time, my guess at least for another year. My opinion about AOL's prospects might change as they reveal details of where they are headed - but that is likely to take time to gell.
