Still on crutches - more to it than I had thought - but proceeding nicely. Worked out for the first time today since the operation which, surprisingly, made me feel great. No leg, however.
Can't blame Lostwife - I feel the same way - but the $1000 guinea pig is the correct call. I love animals: they are so helpless in the face of Man.

Mrs. DSG hasn't raised the issue of gambling, and I think I'll keep silent.

We just blew $1,500 on our meatball dog, who decided to eat something that stopped up her insides. I feel your pain on the guinea pig bill.
