Just getting back from a week away and catching up on 100 posts...

Have to say I'm disappointed to see "tmrent" back and slithering around. The man is either a huge liar or a huge hypocrite - "I made $40/share by trading CCUR over the past 7 months." If he truly believed a single word he posted, he would have never bought it back after the first sale...

Not to mention, even if you add together all $2-$3+ point moves over that time period (generously allowing for perfect in/out timing and foresight), you wouldn't reach $40/share - LOL!

Further, the Sun "bait" is (and always has been) a favorite red herring of his. He was saying the same thing nine months ago when Sun first announced Media Central. Truth is, that PR for the N.Z. America's Cup Village is the first news item since that time! (Nothing of any consequence from or about that product since it was announced in April of 1999 - check it out yourself if you like: search.sun.com ) Either the product is vapor or it hasn't been well received.

Also, the notion that CCUR/SEAC/etc. could be "in trouble" with TWX because AOL uses Sun for some of its ISP servers is preposterous. So, they use Sun (as does much of the world), they use HP, but does this mean all of the sudden they are going to dump all their current VOD providers and switch to something else? Nah. Most all companies successfully use plenty of different hardware providers and will continue to do so. That situation is in fact what TWX has expressly maneuvered for itself (to foster competition and innovation); it's where they want to be.

Newcomers - don't be fooled!
