Kash re: capital gains of $200M. Hell yes everyone is going to buy into this. In the money game Intel has to be propped up at all costs, cause if one of the Dow darlings was to fall it could have repurcussions for the whole market. Intel is forced to do whatever it has takes to appease the money crowd. It's all part of the game. Being an investor leaning towards AMD I am greatful to ride the coattails of the mighty Intel. Then when AMD blows their estimates out of the water it'll be a double whammy. Everyone should chill on the AMD vs. Intel thing. There's room enough for both players. I can only imagine what kind of comments Paul will have to these statements.

I agree. The analysts were very happy with the results...it means it saves them for having to put out a sell signal.

And frankly, its fine that Intel did well...my financial concern is that AMD do well...that they produce next week.

I think its time to move on.
