Late last year, it was supposedly in preparation for Y2K. Now, there's nothing he can do but admit is intended to shore up the stock markets. Without the wealth effect from the stock market, the longest expansion in the history of the US ends. Easy Al will do everything in his power to make sure it doesnt end while he is still in office. But the damn calls. There's no way to fight the fed. They can print as much money as they want to put in their bank accounts- can you say the same?
