Voltaire, I have followed your advice for a long, long time. I can say without a doubt that you have contributed a lot to this thread and hope that you will continue to post. I do not want to be the one to give you direction or thought to leave. I do not want to carry that burden. I have followed this thread day in and day out and can give a psychological evaluation of most of the posters. This thread is well balanced now and the void you leave will be great. Every poster on the thread has pluses and minuses. I have the utmost respect for all the posters and would just like to fit in. Please do not put me in the same boat as the person that is blamed for Gregg P. leaving. Please reconsider, and find another reason to leave later if that is your will.

JA

Voltaire
We've spoken in the past on the AOL and DELL threads and what I think is happening here is that you are being held to a higher standard than most.Face it,its of your own making. How dare you have a human moment with an offhand remark that some considered bad form.Tsk,tsk. Many or perhaps the majority on this thread view you as the calming voice of reason, the shoulder to lean on in stormy times, the bold predictor of market and price trends with enviable accuracy, and to quote Reggie Jackson"the straw that stirs this drink".From what I've observed in the past few weeks is that if you quit this thread a lot of people will be disappointed.Perhaps a good nights sleep will help you reconsider you present thinking.
Cheers
Ed

We all need a break!

...........................................

A young man wanted to get his beautiful wife something nice for
their first wedding anniversary. So he decides to buy her a cool cdma from QUALCOM cell phone.
She is all excited, she loves her phone. He shows her and explains to her
all the features on the phone.

The next day she goes shopping. Her phone rings and it's her
husband, "Hi hun," he says "how do you like your new phone?"

She replies "I just love, it's so small and your voice is clear as a
bell but there's one thing I don't understand though."

"What's that, baby?" asks the husband.

"How did you know I was at Wal- Mart?"
