I don't think we have to get all worked-up over the speech. The market's been pricing in a 25bp hike for quite a while and they have most of the second 25bp already priced in as well. Therefore, the surprise would have been if he had said lower rates were in order. Looks like the futures are agreeing with that interpretation, at least at the wee hours of the morning....you know that can change by the time the market opens. I think it'll be a good day for the market tomorrow.
