rudedog, I think you are right. It seems like there are ny fence sitters not wanting to take a position either way on Dell. Meanwhile, Dan Niles upgraded Intel twice this week, right? But, Dell is not selling anything? Sure, I don't believe that for a minute! Dell has not warned, Gateway has. Hopefully, we will get some good press somewhere for Dell and someone will be a hero for getting the facts straight. You know that book, "Where's Waldo?" I think most of us are asking "Where is Michael?" One of my co-workers has a boyfriend in Sales for Dell. She was telling me today, how visible Michael is, at Dell. He is just a down-to-earth person. I just wish he would start talking. Kemble, could be right. Maybe he is bound to silence? You have to wonder.

Re: "A little PR please??? A little would go a long way I think. "

Dell got the best pr any company in their business could get. MSFT stated it, and INTC stated loud and clear and backed it up with earnings; the PC is not DEAD!!!"

Beside it makes no difference what Dell says now he's too late. Greenspan has spoken and he's out to stifle growth and that is bigger than all of us!

rudedog, RE: SOMEONE was using all those Intel processors

Note that almost all of the upside in Intel's numbers came from the sale of investments and not from the sale of microprocessors.
