Plasticity

I got a new Trinatron for christmas. It's bigger, brighter, and louder than the old RCA. I flip the channels aimlessly, occasionally settling on a show just long enough to recognize that it too is populated with hopelessly beautiful people. I shut off the new Trinatron and log onto IRC.

The Paper Clip

The paper clip fell on the floor; picked up by the vacuum cleaner; shaken into the garbage bag; dispatched to the outdoor garbage can; loaded by the garbage truck; dumped in the landfill.
Alas, the paper clip never accomplished what its creator intended for it.
