Mike... The DPMI chart started getting (slightly) more interesting after that test of the previous bottom -- a test which was apparently successful:siliconinvestor.com The chart also shows advancing stochastics, and an upswing in the RSI...RSI not yet above the 50 mark, but apparently soon ready to do so. On the more fundamental side of things, it seems to me that the worst of the news is out on the stock...any variation now will be an improvement... DPMI is still looking at a very strong second half, a strong recovery continuing in earnings growth, and a prospective 20+% growth rate annually for the next 5 years. At the most macro level, the trend to much narrower line width is just getting serious -- as witness the fact that ETEC just shipped the first of the machines capable of preparing masks with design features below 150 nanometers -- that first should lead to a rush, as the semi-producers try to push their own envelopes to stay up with/ahead of the competition -- and the much wider margins those guys are enjoying will insure the capital is available to invest in the more advanced equipment. For DPMI, the trend to ever narrower line widths is a guarantee of exponential increases in revenues, as mask complexity goes up -- goes up at a compound rate, not a linear one .... Somewhere, way back on the thread, are the comparative revenues per mask at different line widths. Those revenues are as enlightening as they are extraordinary.... OK, so when?....I have been expecting to get back into DPMI in a big way around the end of summer. But, because the chart has become more interesting, I will consider an earlier climb aboard.... All that was the basis of my comments, Mike. Meanwhile, I have concentrated more on ETEC, LTXX, TIVO, ENON, ELON, BRL, and a couple of others. Those have generally proved more productive than DPMI for the time being... I'll be in Florida for a couple of weeks, Mike.... we will check with the thread when we get back.... good luck to you! tso
