Note: JDS Uniphase is an American (meaning US) company which happens to have operations in Canada - also in Europe, Australia and elsewhere.

The point is that a strong king can have outstanding returns for years and years.

Don't need to worry about the lean and mean aspect quite yet. JDS is in a major expansion in Canada in order to keep up with demand. They are hiring like crazy in the Ottawa area for their new plant.

Perhaps this could be thought of as something to worry about because of the socialistic tendencies in Canada however, I tend to think that they are young and struggling to keep up with demand. IMHO Dave
