MOT has been into telematics for several years. It is unlikely to involve fingerprint biometrics, in my opinion. Not only does that effort predate their involvement in biometrics, but if MOT is going to sell IDX technology to automakers, it will be used for car doors and ignitions. With those locks in place, why would it need to be used for the in-dash telematic equipment, as well? We're not discussing a customized driver screen, here, like we might with a desktop-type Web connection; the driver has to keep his eyes on the road.

And doesn't anyone have any reaction whatsoever to my "future" post?
