Letterman Secret Service 'Threat' Not a First for Hillary

If staffers on the David Letterman Show threatened to sic the Secret Service on any audience member who shouted or booed during Hillary Clinton's "Late Show" debut, it wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.

An on-the-scene report swirling around the internet late Wednesday claimed that Letterman staffers repeatedly warned the audience beforehand, "Put your politics aside. This is a comedy show -- no booing, no shouting. And if you don't listen to us you can talk to the Secret Service."

The New York Daily News confirmed that Hillary's "Late Show" audience was warned not to "boo, whistle or shout political slogans," but omitted any mention of Secret Service connected threats.(cont)
