Thanks for the heads up. I think that the premium is already growing exponentially, as is LGND's price :-).

Louis, Elan would have to pay a respectable premium if they do want to acquire it. And they can go to 25% ownership before they have to tender for the entire company. They've got to be close now though given that they started out at 17% fully diluted. I wonder how much of a premium they would offer....

LGND has already hit 52-week high of 17 on about 100K traded in first few minutes.
