Slightly? The deficit in fiscal year ending last fall was $1 Billion -- not counting the Social Security surplus. That's $2.7 million a day. His site states that the deficit since Jan '99 is $436 million a day.

By the way, the Congressional Budget Office just came up with an estimate of a 10-20 Billion surplus this fiscal year. That does not count the SS surplus. With the SS surplus the Government will run a surplus in excess of $200 billion this year. In other words that's by how much outstanding Treasury debt will be reduced this year.
