I generally don't go much for conspiracy or manipulation theories and the like, but ML's putting out that warning this morning really does make me begin to wonder. The blatant attempt at protecting what is assumed to be a short position - in light of the positive momentum caused by INTC blowout earnings and the CPI numbers - is truly outrageous, and there should be some way of prosecuting such shenanigans.
