Voltaire: Nice view out here on the porch, I hope you have room for one more. I have enjoyed reading your postings and do not blame you for leaving the "Buy Range" board. It is amazing how attitudes and psychology change when we hit a little bump in the road. I guess I now know who I wouldn't want to share a fox hole with. V So glad you decided to keep posting. Permit me to keep dipping my bucket in your well of knowledge. Spent a lot of years in University studying stocks, bonds, futures, options, but never learned how to trade. Thanks to yours (and others) tolerance and patience by responding to all those questions (I did a lot of lurking - decided I needed to keep my eyes open and mouth shut) and offering comments and observations I have been able to keep adjusting my thinking to more accurately reflect the reality of the marketplace. My grandfather traded horses, my father cattle. I was too young and inexperienced to realize how smart they were to make a living off those razor slim margins (thought I could do better by learning from PhDs - sad). Anyway, thanks for the lessons. I will take whatever you have to offer and be glad for it. I especially appreciate your calm during a downturn. I always make my own decisions, so don't hesitate to offer an insight. snowbird

I hope most of you loaded up on those 2001's we been talking about. Just got another Jan 01 2000 before close. I liked the weakness at the end, especially before a three day weekend, figured the premium would be lower. Think we'll see the earnings run towards the end of next week?

Lawd! I ain't never seen so many people on one porch...... Voltaire you gotta git some more sitting room. What about building a balcony around this porch. Never seen one but it might be the answer. At least we got the weekend to hose down, clean up and git some supplies. How about a can crusher, a long pole with a nail in the end to pick up some of the chip bags the wind done blowed off the porch...... Boy!
