Blanco is still breathing. We were reading up on PARVO last night and the book said 20% is the survival rate. I don't know where the vet gets her numbers, but it kind of brought us down. ALso--the Parvo virus can survive in the environment for months which means that all dogs in the area are at risk and no puppies can be brought around indefinitely. We also have to give our neighbors dogs and our Lab a booster. I think I'm going to request that the previous owner refund my money for the puppy in light of the several hundred dollars this is going to cost me.

Parvo is a horrible disease where the animal literally dies within 3 days of dehydration from diarrea.
