Murphy appears to overstate his track record. According to Forbes Magazine's January 24, 2000 issue, Murphy's track record since 5/31/90 is an annual gain of 7.5% per annum. Murphy is rated a "B" in up markets and a "D" in down markets.
The article rates the Chartist as the best risk adjusted performance newsletter since 5/31/90.

Yes, it is wrong. ViSX has an action against Nidek for patent infringement in the ND of Calif federal district court. Nidek did counterclaim I believe with an antitrust-based claim against VISX.

I agree with you that there is a slew of misconstrued and misinterpreted facts and flawed conclusions therefrom regarding this industry.
