good move imo. sentiment on bonds is extremely bearish right now, and that usually results in a tradable rally. Rydex bond ratio has climbed to 3,28 a record high (it means that 3,28 times more money is committed to funds shorting bonds than funds that are long bonds).

I agree ... there is a limit to how far long term rates can go. I was thinking 7.5% last year, but I think it is unlikely now -- maybe 7.2%, maybe not ... buying bonds now is pretty low risk IMO ... probably one more climactic selloff with stocks getting hit pretty hard. I think it will happen rather quickly now.
