Jim, The interest rate options trade on the CBOE. Though the 10 years tend to have more activity, I prefer the 30 year. However, I much prefer the more expensive but much more active t bond futures options on the CBT. The rate options have tended not to give me much profit when I am right, with the pure premium disappearing almost immediately and intrinsic value becoming the price when it moves my way.
