Mike, I also want to learn more about QCOM's High Data Rate, a new wireless data technology thanks for pointing out that Gilder feels that CNXT is a way to play CDMA. that is worth pursuing. CNXT is one of the most impressive companies that I have looked into. ----QUALCOMM keeps everyone's eyes and ears open. The company pioneered code-division multiple access (CDMA) technology, used in cell phones, wireless telecom equipment, and satellite ground stations. QUALCOMM is the US's #2 supplier of digital cell phones, but is selling that business to Japan's Kyocera. It will continue to make CDMA chipsets and to license that technology to others, and will focus instead on High Data Rate, a new wireless data technology. QUALCOMM's OmniTRACS global positioning system is used by the trucking industry, and the company publishes the popular Eudora e-mail software. QUALCOMM is also part of the joint venture developing the Globalstar system of low-orbiting satellites. ------ BTW-- another reason to put some money Globalstar.... -----This is the premise that Globalstar Telecommunications Limited {GSTRF} offers.
