Harry, that makes me feel great. I predicted about a week ago that Intel probably sold about 32 million but could have easily sold 36 million, leading to the "shortfall/bad yield" nonsense. Glad to see that the ASP is stabilising too.

Burt: From today's WSJ: "Intel doesn't disclose specific data on its prices, units shipped or market share. But Ashok Kumar, an analyst at US Bancorp Piper Jaffray in Menlo Park, Calif., estimated Intel sold about 31.6 million microprocessors in the fourth quarter, compared with 25.6 million a year earlier and 30.1 million in the third quarter."

RE: ASPs WSJ said, "In the fourth quarter, average microprocessor prices were $191, up slightly from $190 in the third quarter and down from $220 a year earlier, Mercury said."
