Hal has not found Friday's to be any different then other days. This move by MU is well within normal probability ranges.

Yep, the last hour on Friday was a carbon copy of 1/7. We're going up on Tuesday, though, I'm certain of that. They raised the bid on the Jan 75 calls to 1 3/4 just as the market was closing to hit my "sell" order. (I legged into a spread on the drop and recovery.)

I've never been "hit" on a last-minute order like that, buy or sell, put or call, long or short, and *not* been screwed within a half-hour of trading the next day. But I'll be crying all the way to the bank if it plays out like it always has -- they need to run it past 76 3/4 by Friday before I start losing money on those short calls, but in that case I have some long 70's (bought about a half-hour earlier) that would be worth more than I paid for them.
