Untrue on both counts of course. I wonder if you know what a shareholder revolt is - really? Barrick does not have one- nor can you produce any evidence whatsoever to verify the second point. That is exactly what I mean by rhetoric -talk is cheap - if you lie often enough you will convince yourself at least.

As for Terry Swift - on another thread he pointed to Barrick as a 'predator'! I wonder if the shareholders of AQP, Sutton, Lac would agree - I've seen it suggested that Barrick over-paid for some of these companies. There is no doubt that Barrick is interested in Barrick - but one can say that for most companies. All of this airy fairy stuff suggests that business is some sort of charitable enterprise.

Everybody's share price is low, not just ABX. Take a look at HM, NEM, GOLD.
