Let me speculate further on MSFT split.
I think you are correct BG does n't want to preside over his company broken into 3 pieces. He wants to stay on the side line and may become CEO one of the three and be a BOD members or chairman in other two companies.
The funny thing about his new title is he is going to invent new architecture. Oh God, give me break!.
He has not invented anything and has been biggest copier on the planet. Now he is the "Chief Software Architecture".
Yeah!. It seems now they are going to reinvent (i.e.,copy ) SUN CEO's idea of network is the computer.

Msft. You may be right. A split of Msft into 3 cos. That should give them a monopoly for sure. Smart move by the GVT. gg.
