BarbaraT: Excellent point, and that is what I meant by saying "the market is tricky". As I noted in the post, the internets did poorly today as did some other momentum stocks. I think the next two weeks will be continue to be quite volatile, trending downward as we approach the Fed meeting on Feb. 2. Should provide good opportunity for shorting (for those so inclined) or for cherry-picking some great bargains. My "guess" is that Fed rate hike will only be .25% which will trigger a "relief rally".
