I listened to the re-broadcast of the Kin-Ross conference call and heard K say "We will make the decision then as to when to make the Clavos acquisition" They we referring to early summer by my understanding. They also said they will spend between $500,000 and $750,000 US on drilling in the summer regardless. In addition K said they will be building a processing plant between the Hoyle pond and Clavos property and will be shipping the Clavos ore to it. They did however say it will be at least two years before the new plant is in operation.

I conclude that their is no longer any doubt that they will make the buyout. The only real question is when? The longer they wait the more they pay and the more the stock will be worth. The cost of processing on the Clavos is under $200 and therefore with producer's like K believing gold will return this year to the $325 level I would say the risk is pretty darn small that they will change their minds.

The total lack of market interest in gold and mining is why this is the only mining stock I own at this time. I will continue to up my position on low days until the buyout and look at it as a cushion should the tech market take a sudden major dive.
The new total resource of ounces has not been completed yet and so I have no idea how K came out with a figure of 637,000 unless they were using a narrow band width, which is not applicable in this case.
