You said that funds are selling - not true - you spoke of a shareholder revolt - not true - you said that banks are pressuring Barrick to hedge - not true - and now you tell me that the stock closed under $17!! How did the other companies fare today - and what has one day's trading to do with anything we're discussing?

ABX's forward sales/leasing has increased supply to the market, period.

That's not true at all. Forward selling does not cause an increase in supply. Leasing and selling into the market, only changes when the supply is sold, so as to better capture the price of the sale. This is why the Gold market has a much smoother, less volatile chart then 1971-84. Selling Futures is not selling additional supplies either.
