There wasn't a huge bubble in the equity markets then and the massive credit excess that we see now ... if you are thinking double digits --ain't gonna happen.

The "wealth effect" (i.e. propensity of consumers to borrow aggressively to purchase goodies) is about shot ... unless the NAZ doubles again in the next 6 months. What probability would you assign to that event?
