Shamrock's Robert Brady retiring as president

Mr. Robert Brady reports
Robert Brady will be retiring as president of Shamrock Resources, but will
remain active with the company as a member of the board of directors.
Vladimir Katic has been appointed as president and chief executive officer,
effective immediately. Mr. Katic, with a degree in petroleum/chemical
engineering, brings over 30 years of oil and gas experience to Shamrock.
His extensive experience in drilling and reserve enhancement programs has
taken him from the tar sands in Alberta, to Saudi Arabia, the Southern
United States, Iran, offshore Panama, and most recently in Russia
(Kazakhstan) and California. Mr. Katic has been instrumental in arranging
financing for many of these successful multimillion dollar international
projects.
Mr. Katic reported: "I look forward to achieving the exploitation targets
on Shamrock's three major California properties at Oro Fino, Lost Hills and
East Crenshaw. In the future we would also like to pursue other interesting
plays in California and internationally."
The board of directors has also appointed Philip Kueber, QC, as secretary
of Shamrock Resources and as a member of the board of directors. Mr. Kueber
has been involved in the oil and gas industry in Calgary for over 25 years
as a partner of a leading Calgary law law firm until early retirement. He
has remained active in the industry through his private law practice and as
an investor.
The board of directors has accepted the resignation of Patrick Devlin as
secretary and a member of the board of directors. The board of directors
would like to acknowledge Mr. Devlin's contribution to the company since
its inception, and is pleased to advise that Mr. Devlin will remain as
Shamrock's legal counsel.
