"People making hundreds of trades" They do very well. One trader, in the room I use, was on CNBC and said she made more in a month than she used to make as a bookkeeper in a year. The ones making that many trades are mostly scalping, which is playing the spread. Say a stock is bid 50 & ask 50 1/8. Using realtick 111 and routing through ISLD you can buy at 50 & sell immediately at 50 1/8. With 1000 shares that's $125 less $40 commission = $85 profit. You cannot even think of trading like this with a OLB, you must have a prg such as realtick 111 to carry out such trades.
