It's so hard to keep up with the latest equipment it all comes out so fast now...even my annual trek to Comdex barely keeps me up.

My last buy was a MS-5169 mainboard w/ k6-3/450 cpu...about 4-5mos ago. Now that I'm upgrading to a UDMA 66 drive I'm concerned that this board is only UDMA 33....does anyone think this will effect the performance much?

I imagine my P2/400 board is only UDMA33 also

I may upgrade my 3rd computer to an Athlon since it's a K6-2/300....I feel a fast cpu doesn't matter much if you don't have a fast video card and drive to match the performance. A computer is only as fast as it's slowest component right!
