bgr, if computers productivity enhancers, why hasn't this increased "productivity" resulted in more productivity? iow, they don't result in extra profuts nor in extra revenues. that is, until the govt creates dollars out of thin air. the point is simple. if computers are productivity enhancers, let the enhancement produce results and not voodoo numbers. the gensis of this use of chained dollars was an economic result totally unexpected by greenbean and co. they "knew" the result HAD to be WRONG, so they chained up some dollars to make it "right."
