My apologies to this entire thread.... Jane after you asked me how 'Mike' was doing I was quite shocked that I had not give this poor soul another thought since then... in fact when you asked I had forgotten about the entire incident... I received the prayer request from the pastor of my church by e-mail. I phoned him to see what had happened... he apologized to myself and stated that he had received a subsequent e-mail stating the whole thing was as hoax ( Or at least most of it ) and failed to inform me. He also said that it was revealed to be a tall tale in some Christian newsletter that was circulated in the US ( He thought ? ) We are quite puzzled as to why anyone would make up such stories except to slander perhaps and I am quite embarrassed to have been a part of it. Makes no sense and I am sorry to have been a part of forwarding a prayer request that was not legitimate. I am comforted that I was not without burden toward someone who was in REAL TROUBLE... Sorry Jane et al..
